In Sep 2020 honda upgraded the hornet with a bs6 compline 200cc engine and gave it a new name honda hornet 2.0. The honda hornet  2.0 edition got a complete makeover, in the front hornet has a led headlights which are inspired by the honda x blade. the hornet 2.0 comes with led turn indicators and upside-down forks which other manufacturers offer in this price segment. The side profile of the bike looks really sporty, the hornet 2.0 is available in five colours option which is metallic grey, marvel blue, metallic red, pearl black and Repsol edition. At the tail end, the bike gets the same hornets x-shaped tail light and the led turned indicators, then is this side hung single barrel exhaust which gives the hornet 2.0 more muscular and more sporty looks. Honda hornet 2.0 powring by a  bs6 compliant, 184.4cc four-stroke air-cooled engine which is mated with a five-speed gearbox. The hornet 2.0 gets a big rider seat, slightly rare position footpegs and wide handlebars for a sporty stance. The pinion comfort is also decent considering this motorcycle is now sitting in the naked sports genre. It gives you a good commanding posture with a straight back so that you have no stress points on your back or your shoulders you might be wondering if. The seat height of honda hornet 2.0 is 1064mm which means if you are 5.5 or above you can easily ride this bike, and the seat is decently padded but it is slightly on a stiffer side. The ground clearance of hornet 2.0 is 167mm and the complete bike weight is 142 which is ideal for a new rider, and you can use the hornet 2.0 as a city commuter and you can take it on a weekend-long ride as wall. The hornet 2.0  comes with hazard lights which is a very cool add-on for those who want to go on long rides. The engine is aggressive as well, it does get the job done pretty well, there is no sudden spike of power. the bike progresses linearly and offers throughout the rev range still the red line so the graph keeps on rising and there is no flat area which is good because it keeps on going and because of the lack of rawness. the engine is very smooth super silent and no traces of vibration, honda never compromise with the refinement and because it is the lightest in this segment it gains few perks. the brakes are a good one on this it gets single-channel abs and it fits well it is not underpowered or overpowered it's just apt the rear brake is good in terms of bite the feedback is slightly on a lower side but no complaints front brakes are a charm good amount of feedback and a good bite plus the abs works well. Hornet 2.0 transitioned from commuter to naked sports,  the suspensions are now stiffer than ever. the front upside down folks work really well the travel is fairly less and it utilizes almost all of it the rear mono-shock is also stiff offering a good amount of feedback, which makes it fun at the corners and also helps in increasing high-speed stability,
