Husqvarna 250 Design
The design the progressive and neo-retro, there's nothing like it doing the rounds on our streets. The round headlamp looks absolutely out of this world, the entire bodywork flows seamlessly as if it is crafted from one piece, the way the tail hangs out and the rear tire slightly sticks out just looks perfect, the tail lamp is just as much as awesome as the headlamp. the lighting element within is just downright beautiful the seats are perfectly laid out we get premium quality foam. The luggage rack on the tank enhances the rugged look of the bike. The raised handlebar so provides for a nice upright seating posture, the switchgear is neatly laid out, and the round instrument panel again perfectly blends into the design now though the speedo console looks aesthetically pleasing, the visibility of the fonts is not all that great.
Husqvarna 250 Engine Features
Now powering the Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250 is the same Single Cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve DOHC Liquid Cooled 248.76cc engine derived from the KTM duke 250. but it's in a different state of tune here and you'll feel that once you ride.it the engine puts out a max power of 22.1 kW (30 PS) @ 9000 rpm and 24 Nm @ 7500 rpm of punchy torque and it gets a six-speed gearbox. forming the sure foundation is the steel trellis frame with a bolt-on subframe almost similar to what we find on the duke 250 we also get the same aluminum swingarm from the duke the suspension though is different we get WP APEX - USD 43 mm USD forks upfront which is usually found in higher range products from ktm so that is a value addition we also do get a WP APEX - Monoshock at rare. Talking about the brakes we get a massive 320 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc we do get dual-channel abs as standard. and the tire size is Vitpilen 250 - Front 110 / 70 - R17, 54S Rear 150/60 - R17, 66S Svartpilen 250 - Front 110 / 70 - R17, 54H Rear 150/60-R17, 66H.
Ride Experience
The seat height is 835 mm so it is indeed slightly on the higher side, but because it is incredibly lightweight it is extremely easy to handle the bike and balance. The bike weighs only 153 kg but it feels much lighter than that. the tank capacity is another major concern it's only 9.5 litres so the tank range is very limited. It has a ground clearance of 145 mm which is decent enough. In terms of suspension travel, we get 142 mm of travel upfront as well as at the back another significant feature onboard is a pass that stands for power and assists the slipper clutch which prevents the rear wheel from locking and hopping even under harsh braking or panic braking. Husqvarna also provides for a lighter clutch pull.
