The KTM Duke 390 when was first launched in 2017 it kind of redefined value for money getting all the right goodies well ahead of its segment, and yet came with an unbelievable price tag, but now with constant price hikes and the bs6 update the duke 390's price has shot up way beyond comprehension, and duke 390 still offers great value.

The 2020 bs6 KTM Duke 390 now gets the much-awaited quick-shifter plus that's one of the major upgrades of the bike. The new colours that are offered for the Duke 390 bs six models one is matte grey,  which looks nice and classy; another colour is the white and orange scheme, which looks nice and bright and vivid.  As you can see in the picture this new matte grey colour looks nice and classy with the orange wheels, see the exposed trellis frame comes painted in orange the Bolton subframe comes painted in black looks absolutely gorgeous. talking more about the design, duke 390 already came well ahead of its time design with the Super Duke 1290 inspired styling of the headlamp, which looks like the scalpel of the 790 Duke. then the bike has the chunky inverted upside-down WB front fork, that offers super front and feel, and the tail lamp also looks nice too. The aluminium swingarm not only looks beautiful, but it also does its part and offering brilliant handling and Swift agile character it adds on to that by offering superb stability.

Behind this orange black coated split steel trellis frame, the duke 390 has a 373cc DOHC 4 valve fuel-injected and liquid-cooled engine, which generates a maximum power of 43.5 ps at 9000 rpm and a peak torque of 37Nm at 7000rpm. with the six-speed gearbox, the duke 390 can achieve a top speed of 160km to 170km per hour.  As we all know dukes are lightweight,

so duke 390 bs6 is just 167 kgs and the ground clearance for the bs6 variant has gone down. The duke 390 has a 13.5-litre fuel tank and has a claimed fuel efficiency of 25kmpl well it is quite low but. At the rear, you get a 150 by 60 section metal attire mounted on a 17-inch orange colour alloy wheel, and then there is this 230mm disc brake with abs assistance. if you switch this bike into the supermoto mode well the abs are turned off for the rear wheel. The bike comes with the best in the class a TFT so this is the usp of 390 other than the performance figure, and the TFT can be paired with your phone via Bluetooth and you can actually control your music on your phone as well as get turn by turn navigation. and Duke 390 also has a feature like, gear position indicator, digital tachometer, digital speedometer, odometer and trip meters and other information that you can expect from the ktm.

Duke 390 bs6 ride comfort

The seat height is 830mm and if you are somewhere above 5'4 you can easily ride the duke 390. it has a slightly more comfortable seat than its previous generation and other than that you don't have many changes the same old same old slightly rare set footpegs wide handlebars but this time a slightly more comfortable seat anyways all of this gives you a good commanding posture aggressive enough to break the three-digit speed. The Duke 390 is the best in the performance segment, with no compromise on build quality and looks. If your pocket allows, the new 2021 bs duke 390 could be a true naked bike for daily commuting and you can use it for a weekend ride.

The ktm duke 390 bs6 priced at around 2.53 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. and you have not so many options in the 400cc segment, but do check the BMW G 310r which is near 10000 thousand rupees cheaper than Duke 390.
